Course Overview:

Increase awareness and improve services and interventions by taking this 2-hour survey course. Professionals will gain introductory knowledge of human trafficking dynamics, including an overview of legal and research updates.

This self-paced course includes common recruitment tactics, risk factors for victims, learning objectives, multimedia materials, myths and facts, and a trauma-aware approach to assisting survivors.

Learners will better understand the dynamics of sex and labor trafficking as well as the tactics of traffickers and the impact of this “hidden crime” on victims. Everyone in the U.S. should have at least a basic understanding of the facts around human trafficking and learn how using a trauma-informed approach with survivors promotes healing.
