Webinar #8: How to Think about Lasting Happiness (if Lasting Happiness isn't easy for you)
- Tuesday, February 4, 2026 - 12:00pm-1:00pm
- How to Think about Lasting Happiness (if Lasting Happiness isn’t Easy for You)
- For some people, lasting happiness is easy. For the rest of us, it’s an achievement. To find lasting happiness (or anything, really), it helps to know what it is. Your views about lasting happiness might be making it harder for you (and people close to you) to achieve it. They might even be making you unhappy. Using a mix of theory, evidence, and common sense (aka philosophy), let’s discuss how to think wisely and practically about lasting happiness. Dr. Bishop's hope is that this makes it easier for you to find happiness and for you to help others find it as well.
- Presented by Dr. Michael Bishop, Ph.D., Professor in the FSU Department of Philosophy, College of Arts and Sciences.
