The Faculty Senate and Provost’s Office have partnered with the FSU Institute for Trauma and Resilience Studies (ITRS) to host a Fall webinar series just for faculty. Join us throughout the Fall semester for relaxed webinars on engaging strategies for everyday wellbeing.
We’ll kick things off with an in-person launch reception on Wednesday, Sept 24 at the Beth Moor lounge, with hors d’oeuvres and fun give-aways. The first webinar is on Sept 30. Register for both below (please note: you do not have to attend the launch party to participate in the webinars).

Webinar #6: Grief and Loss Around the Holidays

- Sally Karioth, a 55-year FSU professor, international expert, and private practitioner on grief, trauma, and loss, will help you examine personal responses to the holidays as well as provide insights into understanding others. The idiosyncratic and complex emotions many people feel during this time of year can be overwhelming, and this session will serve as a reminder that events already complicating your life can be exacerbated during the holidays. Most importantly, Dr. Karioth will remind us that there are ways to cope with strong emotions during this time.
